A couple of updates to Octobeats..
A new song has swagg'd its way online; Plankspanker.
This funky rocker came to life in my uncle's basement, recording amongst stacks of speakers and amps, a wall of records, and posters of late great recording artists from all corners of musical history.
Pay attention as this jam-night favorite gets its wings.
[ Plankspanker - new track 12/21 11:45am ]
Phenomenon has been infused with a little drum and bass. [ lyrics ]
Featuring the heavenly voice of Holly Ketter.
Stay tuned as the track continues to morph and twist about.
[ Phenomenon - v5 12/21 11:45am ]

The first two rough-cut tracks from a currently developing project.
Songs with a little atmosphere and a little more bass.
Subject to rapid and dramatic change, without warning.
Prone to frequent additions, subtractions, and chemical reactions.
Spiral over to the [ octobeats ] page to spin them.
[ what are we, pirates - new mix 5/28 3:53pm ]
[ fossils & bones - new mix 6/04 3:33pm ]

While sightings of Ryan Murphy are increasing in frequency, video documentation is also on the rise. Eyewitnesses report new songs being played, new fans being swayed, and new endeavours underway. Rapidly diversifying material and a tidal wave of inspiration has spawned more demand for new projects, including the first hints of a Pirate-based album, which may just be in the works as you read this. A handful of newly debuted songs and sprawling collaborations may just be the harbinger of things to come. But while we all wait to see what becometh of the Dread Pirate Murphy, why not check out the [ audiovideo ] page, or the Youtube Channel [ confilid ] for various case studies into The Full Murphy Phenomenon?

Hey Ryan! Got any career updates for me?
On a sidenote: get your website linked on your youtube and myspace. It took me a while to track you down on google... and the only Ryan Murphy that was coming up was some guy from California with a website last updated in 2007.
I just launched a new website as well - www.joalkamps.com
Ciao for now bro,
-Joal
